The General quickly became one of our favourite restaurants in Nairobi. Technically a bar and restaurant. They recently updated their menu and since my cousin was around, my two cousin brothers and I decided to go to The General one night and try out their new menu.

The Vibe
The vibe at The General is always immaculate. The wait staff is so friendly, everyone is having a good time, it’s really chill. Honestly, I would just go for the vibe regardless of the food and drinks lol. The lighting is also amazing and I got to take a lot of cute pictures. Also, I swear my concealer matched my skin tone, there was a bright light on me which is why it looks a little off in the pictures lol.
The Food
The food was genuinely incredible. Like some of the best food I’ve had in Nairobi or maybe even in my life.
We go some fries/chips (of course we did!), grilled cheese sandwiches, macaroni & cheese, pasta and sandwiches. Would rate every single thing 10/10 and we even ended up ordering seconds.
For dessert, we got churros! They were really good but I’ve had churros at this Mexican spot in Nairobi and those were better. I have to keep it real with you guys.
Overall
The General is easily one of the best spots in Nairobi. Every aspect of it is an absolute 10/10. If you’re ever visiting Nairobi or if you’re from here, please do give it a go.
