I really liked this quote when I read it a couple of days ago so I thought it would be a perfect share for this weeks quote of the day. So many of us talk about the importance of kindness but the truth is many of us don’t practice kindness as much as we would like to think. In fact, we only seem to practice being kind when the results will benefit us directly. How do I know this? Well, I think it’s obvious when we look around.
People yelling at servers, people yelling at their employees, their spouses, their partners, their kids and even strangers. We’re at a place in society where we can either choose to be kinder to one another or we can continue going the way that we currently are. For the sake of the future, I really hope that we choose kindness.
