I can’t seem to stop thinking of you
I can’t close my eyes
Without seeing your smile
Your laugh
Your sparkling eyes
And the way you looked
When I found you with her
And you saw the gun in my hand
Love sure can trigger
The worst in us…
About ” Love’s Trigger”:
This poem is about love and how it can be twisted sometimes. You guys know I can’t write a poem or story about love without adding some sort of twisted ending to it lol. It’s a gift and a curse I guess. Anyway, I sort of wanted to show the darker side of love. Things like obsession, betrayal and anger are also a common factor in love yet we often tend to overlook those aspects of a relationship.
Once more, I am unable to find a fitting title for this poem but this one will have to do for now. I sort of hate it but I hate it the least from all the other titles I’ve come up with so far so I’m just going to go with it. Please give me some title ideas in the comments and my favourite one will win a million dollars! In hugs and not actual money…
Edit: I loved ALL your title ideas but in the end Tre won with “Love’s Trigger.” 🤗
