Quote Of The Day #75

Quote Of The Day

Quote Of The Day:

Quote Of The Day, Henry Ward Beecher Quote.

What’s Up With Me?

Nothing much but I’m excited for some plans I have this week. My cough is almost gone which is also something I am super grateful for.

Last night I was able to catch up with one of my friends from Canada which was great. We video called for a couple of hours and were able to chat properly. With both of us working it has been a bit difficult to stay in touch as much as I want to. Still, it’s nice that we are still able to talk whenever we get a minute. She was like my best friend when I was living in Canada and I want to stay good friends with her since she’s such a lovely person.

I’m sure you have noticed that I shared a number of posts about mental health last week. I shared a poem that I wrote after learning about tWitch’s tragic death. And later I shared a guest post about anxiety. Shaunelius Sterns, a fellow blogger told me she was going to share a prayer for those suffering from mental health problems and I thought I would share it with all of you as well. You can view it by clicking here.

Hope you enjoyed this weeks quote of the day. Let me know if you did. What have you been up to lately? Any fun plans for the week? Anything new happening in your life?

Let me know in the comments below because I would love to hear from you. Or simply stop by and say hi!

  1. Finally the persistent cough is leaving.
It’s good that you talked your friend. True friendship are like these, we don’t talk to each other regularly, but we stay friends 😀.
    I’m happy for you.
Yes, I remember your mental health blogs, it was a great initiative and I will read the blog shared by you.
    You shine buddy 🤗🌟🌻🥦

  2. That’s so nice that you have a friend in Canada! Did you meet her while you were in university? I’m sad I didn’t get to meet you while you were living in Toronto. That’s my biggest regret.

Btw, I enjoy reading your life updates, what you’ve been up to etc. please keep making these blog posts 🙂

    1. Yeah, we met in university and remained friends. I was lucky enough to make a couple of great friends there that I still keep in touch with. I’m sad about that too, really wish we could have met at least once but I do plan to visit Canada again in the future so fingers crossed 🤞🏽

Thanks so much, I feel like they make the quote of the day post more fun. And I get to keep up with everyone and share what’s going on with me too. Really glad you’re enjoying the updates 😊

  3. Glad to know that you are getting better. I have a lingering throat irritation too and a lost of taste that has not be restored. LOL. Yes, the holiday season is a great time to talk with old friends. It must be a lovely chat and I feel like calling my old friends too…

  4. Things here are crazy! I had an Elf movie party Sunday. I worked, babysat my niece and nephew, then went late night grocery shopping. Tomorrow I have my daughter’s last Christmas concert for band.

  5. Dear Pooja,
what a beautiful quote and so true.

It makes me happy to know that you had the chance to talk to such a good friend despite the distance.

Last week I contacted an old friend of mine after we had lost sight of each other. We talked for a couple of hours and it was so good. We are both happy we found each other again. Something to be more than grateful for.

    1. Thank you so much. I’m so glad you reconnected with a friend. I think sometimes it’s more special when you talk after a long time. Definitely something to be grateful for.

  6. I think the quote is just false. If I help someone, I want them to succeed. Success in love is the ‘fairest blossom which springs from the soul.’ As they say, I might be grateful for the fish, but to be successful in the art of fishing is to be truly filled with gratitude. Anyway, an old friendship renewed is as beautiful as any literary blossom. There are many blossoms, and none are the ‘fairest of them all.’ Oh, yeah, — my blossom is prettier than hers.

    1. I see your point but I guess it depends on how you interpret the quote. Personally, I thought of it as being grateful for things is important and is something really pure.

  7. Oh sorry. I didn’t mean to say something negative. I’m very glad you were able to renew a friendship. Sometimes I’m not fond of quotes. I need a lot of edits to get things right.

  8. The fairest blossom which springs from the soul. Such a lovely quote! Friendships are one of the best things ever! Glad you got to rekindle one

  9. Nice! I went ahead and clicked on the link you provided. It was nice of her to pray for those going through depression, so I pressed like there too. It’s good you stay in touch with your friend regardless of the distance.
