Happy Holidays, Everyone!

Can you believe how fast this year has gone? I feel as though I was just wishing you happy new year and now it’s Christmas time already. I feel like this year has just flown by. But I am thankful I get to spend the holidays with my family this year. As some of you may remember, I have been in Canada for the last few years and just returned to Kenya. This is the first time I am spending the holidays with my family. We plan to sit around and watch a ghastly amount of TV. Anyway, Happy Holidays to everyone celebrating this year! Have a Happy Christmas, Kwanza, Hanukkah and of course Festivus. And if you aren’t celebrating anything these holidays, have a great day anyway.

I also have some very happy news to share with you guys! Recently, Moksha from thenirvanatales invited me to be part of a collaboration post for Christmas. And of course, I accepted the offer!

In this post, we shared our thoughts on what we want for Christmas. To read about what I want for Christmas as well as what the other bloggers said they want for Christmas you’re going to have go over to her site and read the post! To read the collaboration post please click here. And while you’re there anyway I would recommend checking out her other posts. They’re awesome, just like her!

Again, Happy Holidays everyone!

How will you be spending your holidays? Any plans for Christmas? Are you off work/school? Let me know in the comments below. Or simply stop by and say hi!

  1. Happy Christmas, Kwanza, Hanukkah and of course Festivus to you and your family. This year is super fast even with so many things happening. I only wish 2023 will be slower and more happy events will be in store for us. I am going to write a Christmas post too, and it will be about the thriller you introduced me to and I am switching from videos to thriller books for this Christmas. LOL.

  2. Merry Christmas Eve, Pooja! You’re probably sleeping right now but I wish you a very merry Christmas 🎄🎁 Tonight, Nick and I decided to go out for supper so we’re at an Asian restaurant right now 😋 We didn’t get to go home this year to be with our families in Ontario so it’s just us celebrating this year.

    1. Thanks so much, hope you have a wonderful Christmas! I love Asian food, that sounds lovely. Sorry you couldn’t visit family but at least you get to spend it with your husband and kids.

  3. Loved the post sharing about Christmas Wishes. I found out tonight that they had cancelled the first Christmas Eve Mass that we have had in over five years. I was so sick last week, and that’s apparently when they axed it. I’m only the choir director that was preparing all of the music. 😭.

    1. Merry Christmas! Sounds like you have a nice, cosy day planned. I spent Christmas with my friend trying out new things – baking a Christmas cake (at 1AM, alcohol may have been involved) which turned out amazing and I took my first pottery class.
Thank you for participating in the collaboration. Looking forward to more in the new year. 🙂

  4. This year n the past few have just flown by. My boys are now 24, 20, n 15. I’ve been remarried for over 1 year now. Retired for almost 3, and getting read to start my own business…WOW

  5. Happy holidays! It’s amazing that you get to spend this festive season with your loved ones in Kenya! I am also spending the holidays with part of my family and watching lots of TV! Have a wonderful time!!

  6. Wishing you a Merry Christmas and happy Holidays Pooja! I’m glad to hear you got the opportunity to celebrate with your family. I spent most of it sleeping so it was nice 😉
