Blogger Interview With Michael Foglietta

Blogger Interview With Rita

As you guys may or may not know, I recently asked bloggers to submit their details if interested in being interviewed for my podcast. Thankfully, I got lots of responses and will be sharing one or two interviews a week. Today, I wanted to share my Blogger Interview with Michael Foglietta.

I’ve known Michael for quite a while now. We first met through blogging as he had began blogging on WordPress. I really liked his posts, I thought they were well written, informative but also personal. Through commenting on one another’s posts we got to chatting and learnt more about one another.

Unfortunately, he stopped blogging on WordPress but has recently been writing on a new site/blog he recently created. He had been keeping up with my posts and reached out when I announced that I would be interviewing guests on my podcast. I was happy to have him on and share his story and experiences with you guys. I hope you enjoy the interview, we had a wonderful chat. We talk about his invisible disability, the importance of positivity in the face of mental health issues, what our favourite seasons are and so much more.

      1. If they market it just right, the should be able to get some more traction. It’s a gold mine of content is they spin it properly. 👏👏

        1. Fingers crossed 🤞🏽

  4. I was not expecting another one so soon. Don’t push yourself too hard! But I admit, I do like this. Seeing other bloggers in a very different way is really nice.

    1. Yeah, I’ve been doing a lot of them so I’ll be sharing them often. They don’t take very long to make so they’r more fun than work but thanks for looking out for me! I’m glad you’re enjoying them, it’s so nice to talk to bloggers in person for a change. And I’m learning so much from them too.

  7. I like this new (added) direction! You come across as comfortable and confident when you speak on these videos. Now you have an excuse to build a studio with some plants and your poetry books behind you. 😁

    1. Thank you! I was kinda nervous but it was lots of fun. Hahah yesss that’s the goal- I’m building it right now 🤭

  8. I liked the hidden disability discussion, it’s something absolutely necessary for us to know. I also liked the coffee / tea question. And I agree that if you are a non coffee person, you are strange. It’s weird in the US and other countries I guess. I’m a tea person and it’s always a problem, like a huge one especially when we travel.

    1. I very much agree, it’s something that needs to be discussed. Haha I love coffee but don’t drink caffeinated coffee anymore due to anxiety issues. I love tea too these days, especially flower tea.

      1. Tea is good for you although it can be high in caffeine as well

        1. Yeah, I usually try to find the decaf ones.

  9. An inspiring share, Pooja. Good for him and you. 🙏🏻

I am Mike’s mom. We have been with Mike throughout his long and difficult journey. One thing we have always admired is his perseverance. Through pain, disappointment, and fear, he has never given up. When he has fallen down, he has gotten up and tried again. He is a great role model for anyone who has suffered from a disability of any kind. Because his disability is invisible, he has met with skepticism from others regarding the actual depth of his disability. That has been one of the toughest things for him to endure. He is an amazing man (and, I’m not even slightly prejudice).

    1. Thanks so much for stopping by. Your son is really incredible and it’s amazing how he has managed to get back up and start over.
