3 Free SEO Tools To Help Grow Your Blog By E. S. Foster
Whether you’ve maintained a blog or website for years or are just starting to develop one, SEO is absolutely vital for growth. Fortunately, these tools can help jumpstart your site and teach you along the way. Check out the following tools to make your site stand out from the crowd!
3 Free SEO Tools To Help Grow Your Blog
Semrush
Semrush has been amazing for my blog because of how versatile it is. When you look up Semrush, you immediately access what’s called the SEO dashboard. This covers your domain, backlinks, site analytics, keywords, and more. The goal of the site is to monitor how your domain compares to others, how those competitors utilize SEO, and where your site may be slacking.
You can start for free, copy and pasting your domain into the website. From there, you can access all your analytics then compare it to how other sites are doing. You can even create a full site audit of all your pages and posts to see where you need more SEO! Semrush will then give you advice and resources for updating your site to improve traffic and SEO.
Semrush also has tons of resources for marketing, including advertising and social media.
CanIRank
This site describes itself as “the first SEO software using AI to give you specific action recommendations rather than just data.” Besides auditing your site to see where and what needs the most SEO improvements, CanIRank also generates content ideas to keep your growth going long-term.
CanIRank uses AI to outline the most valuable keywords for your site and help you make the most of them to improve your site authority. This site also provides SEO consultation!
Free Keyword Research Tool
If you already know what keywords you need, Free Keyword Research Tool can help you by calculating how many have searched those words online and how much competition those words have. For example, if you want to write a post called “The Top Ten Beaches to Visit in the US,” you can type in “beaches in the US.” This tool then shows how much people have recently searched for this information, or volume, and then describes how much competition you’d have if you wrote a post. The higher the competition, the more difficult it will be to gain a higher rank authority when people search.
Thankfully, there are plenty of keywords with low competition, making it easy for your site to rank higher. This tool can also help you generate content ideas for future posts!
SEO has been a huge learning experience for me, but these tools have provided comprehensive guidelines for improving my site! By focusing on keywords, ranking difficulty, and my traffic, my SEO has drastically improved in the past few months. Yours can too!
