Depending on your time zone, it’s officially October or the last few moments of September. For me, it’s officially October. I know that you guys expect me to whine about how it’s already October and now we only have the final quarter of the month left. And to be fair I do whine a lot about how time flies. But not today, not on my favourite month of the year.
That’s right, October is my favourite month. You would think it’s April because that’s my birthday month and my birthday is on 4/20 which makes it extra fun. But no, it’s not April. It’s very much October. Generally, I don’t like warmer weather and October in Kenya is summer time. We have much hotter and drier weather. However, I try to see the positive- I get to finally wear cute crop tops and dresses and shorts thanks to the warmer weather. And this month, I’m taking a break from a lot of stuff so my schedule is much better and I’ll have more time to relax which I love.
I’m excited. And honestly happy to see September end since it was only okay-ish for me.
The only thing I’m sad about is my little lizard (geckos but we call them lizards here) friends leaving. Now that the weather is warm, they no longer live inside. Lizzy is still around though. She’s a permanent resident. But Kitty and Lydia have left and it’s weird not seeing them every day.
That’s Lizzy, I didn’t slow down the video she’s just walking in slo-mo for some reason (the reason is that’s she’s a little odd)
