My Review Of Séduire By Tremaine Loadholt
I have been meaning to review this book for so long because I actually read it last year right around the time it came out. A lot of you know Tremaine as she is a big part of the WordPress community and is one of the nicest people I have met here. She leaves such sweet and meaningful comments. Thanks to our interactions before, I was already a fan of her writing. I think a lot of people want to be a writer, not everyone has the talent to be a good one. She certainly has the talent to be a good one, a brilliant one in fact.
Séduire by Tremaine Loadholt is a book of short stories and personally I felt every story had something to offer. There were different themes, some more darker, but every story was touching in different ways. The darker stories make us think about the world we live in, what sort of horrors may be norms, we see the world through so many different characters and learn their struggles.
I certainly felt so many things reading this book. There is an array of emotions to be felt in this collection of stories. The stories really delve into the complexities of human nature, society and the world around us. These stories will remain with you long after you’ve finished the book.
I will also add that this book was very well written. It was easy to follow, shared touching stories without being pretentious or having an ethically superior air about it and most importantly it made me think. It made me feel. I also always appreciate books with short stories because then I don’t feel like I need to read it in an entire day. It’s much easier to finish reading one or two stories before bed. And it’s not a particularly long book so it’s one you can read even when you have a busy schedule and finish in a couple of days.
Final Thoughts
Overall, I wanted to say that I absolutely loved this book. Tremaine did an amazing job with it and I would absolutely recommend it. Do check it out if it sounds like a book you would like to read. I can confidently say, you won’t regret it.
