Note: “That Furnace Called Dreams” is a guest post.
A dream is a furnace
In which efforts are molded
Into realities
Put in mediocrity
Out comes lackluster results
Put in wishes and cheap talk
Out comes winds of disappointment
Put in money
Put in time
Put in energy
Put in your soul
And if all that is not enough
Put in everything you’re
Put in everything you’ve got
What comes out
Nothing can truly describe
Nothing can truly label it
Generations will contribute in parts
To describing and appreciating your achievements
Because you gave infinitely
Infinite praise and recognition is what came out
Oh, that furnace called Dreams!
It demands so much from you
Even if you’ve got nothing to invest
It beckons you
To start by giving yourself
Because that is all that is required
