I ended up getting really busy today and couldn’t finish the post I had started to share today. However, I did get a bit of the writing bug and made some progress with my manuscript. It’s only a little progress but still worth it. I think it’s because of all the comments on yesterday’s post that inspired me to write. Or my brain finally decided to cooperate for once. Either way I’m not complaining. What a way to make a living, huh?
Talking of making a living, I wanted to remind y’all that I already have a book out. It’s called All The Words I Kept Inside and it is a poetry collection. In it you will find the deepest parts of my heart and soul laid bare. Although I feel I have grown a lot as a person and writer since that book, it’s still something I’m proud of because I spoke my truth or what was my truth at the time.
