I know I’ve been away from blogging this week, I’ve been working on editing my manuscript. Of course, I’ve been missing everyone on here but I have to make some sacrifices for my writing. And since my lawyer said I can’t make actual sacrifices anymore because it’s “frowned upon” or whatever I have to make some sacrifices with my time. My lawyer also told me to tell you guys that was a joke and I don’t actually sacrifice people…
Anyway, back to the good news. I’ve been sharing some posts about my content which was stolen by another blogger. Well, turns out my initial DMCA didn’t go through and no one told me. Despite me reaching out to WordPress multiple times. Finally, I reached out once more and instead of getting the scripted responses from WP I was able to talk to an actual person from Automattic who told me the DMCA didn’t go through and that I would have to file another one which I did.
Thankfully, the took care of it in less than 24 hours and I can finally say that the stolen content was finally taken down!!
Although I am disappointed that the Happiness Engineers at WP didn’t do more to help, I am grateful that Automattic took care of the issue very promptly.
Anyway, comments are switched off as I’m still busy with the manuscript. But just wanted to check in and share this update. Thank you to everyone on here for supporting through all this!
