I had my review of Wednesday ready to post today. But then I noticed a new glitch on WordPress. I like to share these on here because when one site glitches it’s very likely other sites will experience glitches too. I don’t know if they’re making some updates or changes (which they seem to threaten to do constantly) or if this is just a random glitch. But nonetheless, here is the new glitch:
Did you notice what was wrong in this screenshot? So, just a few hours ago my homepage on WordPress had a “Stats” option to view my sites statistics. You will notice in the image that this is now completely gone and I no longer have a “Stats” option anymore.
Now, the statistics on there were never particularly accurate. In fact, I have noticed quite a few discrepancies over the years. For example, the subscriber count is always slightly off and has been that way for at least two years. Sometimes the traffic insights are inaccurate and don’t add up. However, I liked having a stats option. I really don’t like change, well to be more accurate I don’t like completely unnecessary change. Fingers crossed it’s just a temporary glitch and I get my stats page back very soon.
