Goodbye September. It’s officially nearing the end of September. Well, by the time you read this it will actually be October in my time zone but some of you may have a few hours of September left. To be honest, I’m very read to say goodbye to September. I’m ready to say goodbye to 2025. It’s been a particularly difficult year for me. I’ve learnt many things about myself and those around me. I’ve seen who has really supported me through tough times and those that have back away or made my life more difficult as soon as I set boundaries.
This month has especially been difficult, I talked about that in my last post so I won’t repeat myself.
But truthfully, it’s not been all bad. And I don’t want to only fixate on the bad. Lots of great things have happened this year too. I feel like my mental health is doing much better, I’m finally learning to put myself first and set boundaries for probably the first time. I’ve done more reading and art rather than just staring at a screen all day. And I’ve made a lot of happy memories with friends and family.
For October, all I really want is a little bit of peace and quiet.
