Yesterday, I received something in the mail that I was really excited to share with you guys. What a wonderful gift to receive:
Cindy Georgakas from The Unique Times is a fellow blogger on WordPress and I have known her for years now thanks to this platform. She has always been so lovely, kind, supportive and a very talented writer. She published her first book, Re-Create & Celebrate, some time back and sent me that one too which I enjoyed very much. Recently, she published this companion book with poetry that goes with her first book.
I was so excited to be a part of the process and did what I could to help bring the book together. I know first hand how much hard work has gone into this book and how much Cindy has done to make this book a reality. She is someone who doesn’t have even a minute to spare and yet she willed this book into a reality for which I’m sure her readers (including myself) are so grateful.
So many of her poems spoke deeply to me and were so incredibly relatable. I shared a full review of my thoughts on the book that you can read here. But yeah, I’m so thankful for this wonderful gift and to Cindy Georgakas for sending it to me. I’m really excited to read it again and enjoy the poems once more!
