How To Make Money Online In 2021

I’ve gotten a few comments and DM’s asking me about this so I thought I’d reblog this post.

How To Make Money Online

This is a question I get almost constantly and so I thought I would write a post dedicated to this topic. I have written about this on an earlier post, however, if I remember correctly that post concentrated more on making money blogging rather than online in general because at the time I was taking some time off social media. I wanted to do a little updated version of the post because it’s been a while since that post and I thought I would rather talk about making money online rather than just blogging because some of my readers are not bloggers but do use social media and from the DM’s/emails I have gotten they would be interested in learning to make money from their social media pages too.

Here are some of my favourite tips and tricks on how to make money online, however…

  1. I’m always wondering how much bloggers make online, whether it’s $100 or $10000 per month. I honestly have no idea how much bloggers on here actually make. Even $100 sounds awesome! Personally the only thing I’ve scored was a free e-book which I offered to do a review of because I felt guilty for getting it for free 😂

    1. I’m not sure how much others make but it’s pretty easy to make a couple hundred if you have 1k followers or more. I think people generally charge 10 dollars for every hundred followers so if you have 1k you can charge $100 per post/link. But it depends on how you make money because if you use sites that match you up with sponsors you kind of have to settle for what they offer you. But even still you can make $100-$500 monthly with 1k+ followers. Lol I always do reviews when I get free eBook’s cos I feel kind of guilty for just reading them lol 😂

      1. Oh wow! I didn’t know that people can charge that much per post! Doing the math, I can imagine that you make a good income each month! 🙌

Tbh I went from having lots of work to very little work so I might have to get back into blogging. Its the only kind of work that seems stable and reliable these days.

        1. You should check out Fiverr and Upwork- they’re great for freelancers and you can sell pretty much whatever service or product you want. You can definitely make a good amount each month especially once people start giving you good reviews!

            1. Well you already have a blog so you have a lot to offer! You can offer to add relevant links, create logos, create posts etc. I would recommend looking at what services others are offering and find something from there.

              1. @Alexandrabrown And how can you guarantee that every investment will lead to these high returns? Even the stock market doesn’t guarantee high returns like that. Every type of investment has a risk, unless this is a scam. Then it’s nothing but losses for the investor. I’m not saying your thing is a scam, but I am super skeptical….🤔

  2. Yes, I heard you say research repeatedly and I know I should do that, but I just can’t get to it… Still trying. So far I haven’t even thought about the money issue and it is just a platform for me to practice my writing and see how people respond to my ideas.

    1. Research definitely helps a lot especially if you want to grow your audience. I think people generally have different goals with blogging and if your goal is just to write than I guess the money aspect isn’t something to worry about.
