August was a particularly difficult month for me both physically and mentally. I ended up exhausted and burnt out because of everything else going on in my life. Between work, blogging, cooking and helping my mum out it really got overwhelming which is why I didn’t post much for most of August. However, I’m hoping things slow down more in September because I really do miss blogging a lot when I take unexpected breaks from it. And of course, I miss all of you as well.
My continued readings of Meditations has helped me through this difficult time. It helped me more than I ever thought possible and is probably what helped me maintain my sanity. Other than reading Meditations and writing down my thoughts and understanding of it, I haven’t done much reading because I had neither the time nor the right mood. This month though, I want to read more and get back into sharing reviews.
For those of your wondering, my mum is slowly but surely getting better. Of course, it’ll take some time before she’s back to normal completely as she got both her knees replaced. But she is at least able to do the minimum stuff she needs to now.
I know I haven’t had time to visit your blogs yet but rest assured I will do so soon. Comments will be off because I’m still trying to catch up. Happy September, everyone- may yours be a lot better than I’m expecting mine to be.
