Disclaimer: Serious Only Murders In The Building spoilers ahead and discussion of theories about the final episode. If you are not caught up with the show please do not read ahead if you have an issue with spoilers.
As you guys may or may not know, I am a big fan of Only Murders In The Building. The show stars Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez. All three are fantastic actors and they suit their roles perfectly. I have actually talked about the last season quite a few times on this blog last year including on this post.
I really enjoyed season 1 but they did leave us at quite a cliffhanger and I had been impatiently awaiting season 2 for so long. Of course, I was thrilled when they finally released the second season a few weeks back and my family and I sat down to watch it.
Plot
We have been enjoying the show so far but there are a few twists and turns that led to plot holes. However, I’m hoping these will be dealt with in the last episode and we’ll finally be able to understand everything.
Much like last season, this season started out with a murder in the building except this time the three main characters were directly involved and Bunny was even found dead in Mabel’s (Selena Gomez) apartment. Obviously, they were taken in for questioning and that’s where it got interesting.
At first, I thought the killer may be Alice (Cara Delevingne) but she just turned out to be an awful person not a murderer. I still think she may have something to do with the murder though but that’s just my theory. More on that at the end of the post.
So far, we know that detective Kreps (Michael Rapaport) is involved with Cinda Canning (Tina Fey) and it seems like they are both trying to frame Charles, Mabel and Oliver because that would make for a great podcast…
However, I feel that they are trying to frame these guys but they are not actually involved in the murder of Bunny. I think Bunny’s murder is a whole different case in itself. That’s the kind of plot twist I expect from this show. I still think Alice murdered Bunny or the girl trying to take her job and her boyfriend. Either way, I think Bunny’s death is unrelated to Cinda.
Conclusion
These are just my thoughts though. So far this season has been pretty interesting although there were one or two dull moments in the middle. I was sad to learn Oliver’s son was actually biologically Teddy’s.
Anyway, I am so excited for the last episode and to finally find out what happened to Bunny. I will probably write a post after seeing the last episode.
