Quote Of The Day

Aeschylus Quote:
Aeschylus Quote

What’s up with me:

I feel like I usually take Monday’s to whine about something or the other but for the first time on Lifesfinewhine I may actually not whine. I was talking to my therapist a few days ago and she really helped me understand the importance of letting go. For someone who thrives on control, that’s not always easy but it’s something I have to work on especially considering we don’t really have any control over anything ever. She is also helping me let go of my past because I don’t want those things to keep bubbling up every time something happens. I want to let the past be the past and let go of that hurt and pain.

I just thought I would share that because last week’s Quote Of The Day post was a bit of a downer but you guys know that I always keep it real on Lifesfinewhine (minus my eyebrows that I have to draw on because I accidentally shaved off a chunk and it never grew back, but that’s a different story) so I shared my thoughts anyway.

Thanks to everyone who asked about my hand and fingers. They’re doing better now but it will be a few weeks at least before they’re back to normal. It sucks but it is what it is and I’m trying to stay positive and make the best of the situation. On a lighter note, I can now do almost everything with my left (non-dominant) hand including writing and using chopsticks!

I’ve also noticed a decrease in views over the last 24 hours. Is that just me? Is anyone else experiencing this?

What did you think of the Aeschylus Quote? How is your Monday going? What are your plans for the rest of the week? What goals do you have for this week? Let me know in the comments below!

  1. Yes I’ve noticed a decrease in views it’s kind of weird!

    1. Maybe it’s because the blog hasn’t reached the audience.
Because, my last blog was on visible on the reader. 🤷🏻‍♂️

    2. So weird! Mine seem to be back to normal now and hope yours are too.

  2. I’m glad that your hand is better! No change in my daily states, usually around 100 to 150 per day.

    1. Thanks! Maybe only some blogs are seeing a decrease 🤔

  3. Hi Pooja,
I hope that you continue to feel better.
My goal this week is to try and get my physical and mental health feeling better again. It’s a struggle with no money but I will do the best that I can with what I have.
    Have a great week.

    1. Thanks so much. I hope you’re able to feel better both mentally and physically soon. It definitely is a struggle with prices increasing but there’s always hope. Have a great week too.

  4. I’m sure you’ll be back to normal very soon. Mentally and physically. It is a process and it can take some time. You usually seem very positive in your posts, even the negative can be turned into a positive. We all go through things in life, and sometimes it isn’t easy. Moods can change, people can say something trivial that can just set us off sometimes, but I still wake up every day and do what I need to do to make it through the day.

    1. Thanks so much. Yes, it is a process and getting to a point where you accept the situation can sometimes take a while. I try to do the same and live life day by day.

      1. I’m confident you will get there.

        1. Thank you so much.

          1. You are very welcome

  5. Please whine more. I love to listen to people who whine about their life since life deserves a lot of whining. And I know a person who hurt her finger just by trying to open a can of coke cola. Can you believe that? I would never have thought that a can of coca cola can hurt you, but it can and it did. So please take good care of yourself.

    1. Lol thanks, I will most definitely do a lot of whining maybe just not today. Wow, that’s so sad. I have never heard of people hurting their finger opening a can. Hope she’s okay.

  6. Actually you are doing fantabulous job.
I would like to learn more about that.
Letting go is great, I guess. Because we are hurting ourselves.
    I wish, I had known this in 2019-21 😛.
Recently I read 2 books, that changed my mindset a bit. 🙂
    .
I’m glad to know that your fingers are doing well. Yes, it will take to completely recover. But, then left hand in the action.
    .
I also felt decrease in views and interaction. My last blog was not visible on WP. I republish it multiple times, but nothing worked 🤷🏻‍♂️.
    .
This week, I’ve decided to work on few things, so that I can become a better blogger. Other than that, I will get my buisness card today and I will able to start marketing from tomorrow (not blog related).
    .
You take good care and keep shining ☀️

    1. Thank you so much. Yes, I wish I knew that earlier too. It would have saved me some grief over the years 🙂

Yeah my left hand is fine doing the majority of the work for now.

That’s odd. I think WP may be updating something again. Their updates never end well for us creators. Or maybe there’s some bug.

Wow, congratulations on the business cards, that’s awesome! 😁

  7. Amen, that was such a great quote!

    1. Thanks, it’s one of my favourites!

  8. I’ve no interest in numbers. I prefer quality of comments that trickle in. We all whine. Some of us have learned to hide it better than others. You have to do what ever is best for you.
My shared quote…”There’s no limit to the amount of good we can do if you don’t care who gets the credit”. ~ Pres. Ronald Reagan.

    1. Thanks. I absolutely agree that comments are most important I was just surprised by the sudden drop.
That’s a wonderful quote, thank you for sharing it!

      1. meant tosay I don’t pay attention so I wouldn’t know. YW. Be well my friend.

        1. Got it, and I definitely get that. Most people don’t check their stats as much as I do lol.

  9. Great quote.
Glad to know your hand is better!

    1. Thanks so much!

  10. Let the past be the past, present be the present and future be the future. Glad that your hand and fingers are better. I hope you are in good condition, both mentally and physically. Have a great week.

    1. Thanks so much and that’s exactly what I’m hoping for. Have a great week too.

  11. Great quote. Glad you’re hands are better and you’re learning to let go. And yes, there seems to be a decrease in views, plus some of my posts don’t show up on reader. Have a nice week❤️✨

    1. Thanks so much. Sorry to hear that you’re experiencing this issue too. It seems they may be doing some update or there is a glitch/bug. Whatever it is, I hope it’s fixed soon. Have a nice week too 💕

  12. Just read this today while surfing on the internet-

Do you have a problem in life? ‘NO’, then Why worry?

Do you have problems in life? ‘YES’

Can you do something about it? ‘YES’, then Why Worry?

Can you do something about it? ‘NO’, then Why Worry?

So, I though to share it here as well. 🙂

    1. I really like that. Thanks for sharing. Yes, worrying gets us absolutely nowhere in life.

    1. Thank you.

  13. Take care Pooja, don’t worry about it, whining is a part of life😊.

    1. Thanks and yes whining is definitely a part of life haha 😊

  14. Therapy is a good place to whine. It took me a couple of years in therapy to deal with the baggage I carried over the years. I still feel I need it.

And hope you make a good recovery. Take care! 🙂

    1. Yeah it takes a while to get past things but I think therapy is very beneficial longterm.

      Thanks so much!

  15. You’re not alone. I was just talking to a friend of mine about this very thing. Why is it so hard to let go when holding on to things is so exhausting?! ugh

    1. Happy to hear I’m not alone in this. I don’t know why we hold on to all this baggage but it’s like a small part of out mind is afraid to let it go even when that would be the best thing to do.

  16. great quote Pooja and so happy you are feeling better. Letting go is key to everything.
I’m hanging in after lifting too heavy of stones. back talking but listening.. hugs and love. 💖💖🤗🤗🤗

    1. Thanks so much! Letting go truly is the key but it’s so difficult for some reason. Thanks again!💖🤗

      1. Of course!!
It’s easy to say and sooo much harder to do because it comes I. Layers!!! 💕❤️💕🎈

        1. Absolutely, really hard to do but so worth it! 💕

  17. Beautiful quote about growth. And hey, you can do a lot with your left hand now! That’s a win, despite the situation with your right

    1. Thanks and yeah I’m definitely counting that as a win lol!

  18. Happy you’re doing well! I haven’t noticed the views but there was something weird happening with the reader. After I posted yesterday it took a while before it showed on the reader, and some other people posted that I follow and I didn’t see their new posts until I physically went into their page. Strange!

    1. Thanks! A couple of people have mentioned their post not showing up on Reader to me too and I didn’t see a post on my Reader from someone I read daily and had to also go in physically to see their latest post. Very weird but I hope WP fixes all these glitches soon.

  19. Dear Pooja, i wish you all the best💕🙂 yes, letting go is crucial for both mental and physical health, though difficult at times🙂

    1. Thanks so much 💖 and yes letting go is vital 🤗

      1. My pleasure, dear💕🙂

  20. so how does it feel not whining?

and as for your drop in views; my apologies. my views went from 23 to 25, so I must have stolen a couple of yours 🙂

    1. I don’t mean to whine about not whining but no whining kind of sucks.

Well now I know where my views went…

      1. there is something exhilarating about whining 🙂

and I am sure those views will return to their rightful owner…

        1. There really is- so much so that I pay someone to listen to me whine for an hour every two weeks. So thankful for therapists.

          It seems they have returned…

  21. Letting go is a powerful tool

    1. It really is!

  22. LOL not you shaving a big chunk of your eyebrow! I’ve don’t that before!!!

    1. Lol glad I’m not the only one! The only problem is the chunk isn’t growing back and now I have a random bald spot on my eyebrow 😂

      1. Oh no!!!!😂😂
