I feel like I usually take Monday’s to whine about something or the other but for the first time on Lifesfinewhine I may actually not whine. I was talking to my therapist a few days ago and she really helped me understand the importance of letting go. For someone who thrives on control, that’s not always easy but it’s something I have to work on especially considering we don’t really have any control over anything ever. She is also helping me let go of my past because I don’t want those things to keep bubbling up every time something happens. I want to let the past be the past and let go of that hurt and pain.
I just thought I would share that because last week’s QOTD post was a bit of a downer but you guys know that I always keep it real on Lifesfinewhine (minus my eyebrows that I have to draw on because I accidentally shaved off a chunk and it never grew back, but that’s a different story) so I shared my thoughts anyway.
Thanks to everyone who asked about my hand and fingers. They’re doing better now but it will be a few weeks at least before they’re back to normal. It sucks but it is what it is and I’m trying to stay positive and make the best of the situation. On a lighter note, I can now do almost everything with my left (non-dominant) hand including writing and using chopsticks!
I’ve also noticed a decrease in views over the last 24 hours. Is that just me? Is anyone else experiencing this?
