It's Been A Whole Month Since...

So, it’s been a whole month since I published my first book, All The Words I Kept Inside. I can’t believe it’s been a whole month already. It was sort of a scary experience because putting your most personal and intimate thoughts out there for the world to read is not an easy thing. But if you’ve read my writing, you know that it’s pretty honest, brutally so at times. And I’m proud of that. I try to say what I feel and believe, I don’t know how else to write but truthfully. And I don’t think that’s a bad thing when it comes to poetry.

Once more, I want to thank everyone that has supported this latest writing endeavour of mine. To everyone that read the book and was kind enough to leave a review either on Amazon or their site or social media. Or just anyone that read the book, period. As a writer, that’s all we ever want- an audience to read our writing.

Recently, our fellow blogger, Betty mentioned the book on one of her blog posts. And Tre shared a review of the book on her blog. I am so grateful for both, thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I haven’t written much poetry since this book was published, at least not any worth adding to a book. So my next book will be a novel. I’m at 50k words for the novel and hope to finish it in a couple of months. Definitely before the end of the year. This is my very first novel so I’m incredibly excited for it.
