Your Words

March 10, 2017October 29, 2022by Pooja G25 Comments on Your Words

Your words Taste like lava in my mouth Burning me From the inside They bring me back together Just so you can tear me down again They hurt so much I want to rip my skin out Words flow from your lips Like a thousand lashed of a whip Bruising my mind Hurting my sanity "Your [...]

Twisted

July 29, 2016October 7, 2022by Pooja G5 Comments on Twisted

You're sick And twisted With your mind games You control my every move Your selfish needs I am forced to prioritize You have me And it's still not enough for you You need to drain me Of everything I am Of everything I ever was I am nothing more to you Than your favourite toy [...]

How I feel after I spend all my money on food 🤷🏻‍♀️🥲 @dentmistry thanks for treating me tho lol 😂 Always iconic when I'm with her 🥂 @dentmistry The only reason I created my blog was because I wanted to write. That's all I've ever wanted to do and that's all that I'm good at. However, over the last few years I began feeling like I wasn't doing enough to reach my writing goals. That's why I decided that in 2023, I'm going to take charge of my life and take advantage of every opportunity that was handed to me. With that in mind, I applied to be a part of a poetry anthology I had been hearing about. I submitted a poem and to my utter surprise it was accepted. Today, I stand (technically sitting in my pjs but whatever) before you a published writer thanks to that chance I took. This is the first piece of writing I have ever had officially published. And I would be truly grateful if you support my endeavors by purchasing Hidden In Childhood: A Poetry Anthology by clicking the link in my description.
