It’s Been 2 Years!

So I got this in my notifications yesterday and I was so super happy. First of all I had kind of forgotten the exact date I had started blogging (now I know) and second of all it’s already been 2 years with you guys!!!

I really want to thank each and every one of my followers for being amazing and incredible and for supporting my blog with likes, shares and comments! It means so much to me! I remember when I just had 2 followers and I was about to give up blogging because I felt like it wasn’t really going anywhere. Honestly, I am so glad I kept blogging because I have made awesome friends here and I have met people from all over the world that I would not have met otherwise.

I have been through a lot in the last 2 years and you guys have always stuck with me and given me really great advice!

Seriously thank you guys so much!

    1. Yeah the first few months at tough because you don’t really know what’s going on and you don’t have many followers but once it pics up it’s really worth it!

  1. Hey!
Congrats on making it to the two year mark, so happy for you for sticking with it. It is so rewarding and yet and awesome thing when you think about how far we have come as bloggers. The amount of trial and error and the maintenance that comes with blogging – it can be hard work and many people do not stick it out but you have; hopefully you continue to blog.

    1. Thank you so much! Yeah it was really hard at first and super confusing (WP does not try to make it easy for beginners!) but I feel like it’s so worth the struggle because it’s super rewarding too! I’m so glad I kept blogging and got to meet so many amazing people (like you!!) and I got to put my writing out there! I’m almost completely sure I’m going to keep blogging because I actually came up with an awesome plan so I can blog in Canada but not spend too much time on it cos I’ll be crazy busy with university!

      1. You came up with a plan? really? I am eager to hear about this new plan? I am coming up with plans too so I can study for my personal training exam (that yes, I was supposed to take last year) oops. but now I have to really focus on it come August. To be honest, I should have focused on it this month as well. I think whatever plan you come up with will be neat to read about and see in action!

        1. Well my plan is basically just to plan ahead as much as I can kind of get the foundation of the post ready. Like for my Monday posts I’m keeping a bunch of posts ready so all I’ll have to do is add the tags and publish them and I’ll keep some poetry and six word stories ready for Fridays so I’ll just have to post those too than. I think that will save a lot of time for me and also make sure I post regularly. I can’t keep all my posts ready because I want some of them to be about what’s going on with me and how I’m adjusting to Canada so obviously I’ll have to write those when I cross that bridge but that will probably just be once a week. You should try keeping some posts ready in advance too it may save you some time! And best of luck with your exam!! I know you have been thinking about taking it for quite a while and I honestly feel like the universe is one your side and you’ll do really well!

          1. I love your idea, how do you do post in advance, I have been wanting to know how one goes about that, like do you write them all on one day of the week and post them on those days or do you write them the day before, or how will that get done? just so I can get an idea of mine.

Also, I think once a week updating us on your college life will be a good idea, won’t put too much pressure on you and you can pretty much sum up the whole week in one post. Good idea.

I hope I pass my exam, I am counting on it for my career, so the Universe better not let me down, lol

            1. Thanks! Yeah I am writing a bunch of posts right now for the quotes and poetry and then I’ll just save them and post them when I get to Canada and I’m busy. As for my college experience I think I’ll write the post one day in advance and then post the next day! I think you should save a bunch of posts and then post them when you’re busy revising.

I hope you pass too and I definitely think the Universe is with you right now!! 😜

              1. Oh jeez! wow you are keeping yourself busy! I am going to start trying this whole writing ahead of time and then posting them as I go along so I can save time from having to write them and post them the same day, I probably can then get more out in a day as well. I have to first organize my blog though so everything has order.

                1. Lol yeah this month is going to be hectic but totally worth it! I don’t want to stop blogging regularly. Yeah you need to organise everything so you don’t get confused and then you’ll see how much easier it is to write in advance!

    1. Thank you so much! Yeah I was pretty unsure when I started out but now that I’ve found a pretty good balance I’m glad I kept going!

  2. Congratulations, Pooja! So many people start new ventures and quit shortly after, so you should be very proud! Your site is beautiful and I’m glad we’ve “met.” 🙂 Keep sharing your awesome writing.

    1. Thank you so much!! Yeah I am so glad I didn’t quit and kept blogging even when it was difficult!
I’m so glad we met too! 🙂
