My Goals For 2023
I generally never post on Sundays. It’s my day off. But today is not just another Sunday. Today is officially the first day of 2023. Or the second day of 2023 depending on what time zone you’re in… Anyway, since today is the first post I will be posting on Lifesfinewhine, I wanted it to be about my goals for 2023.
I don’t really do resolutions but I like to make some goals for myself to help me improve as a person. So here are some of my goals for 2023:
Finish Writing At Least One Book
As you may know If you have been following this blog since 2022, I have been trying to write a book. I actually started it in 2021. But of course, you can’t force the process and I write when I’m in the right mood to. Last year, I expanded to writing three books simultaneously. It’s been fun but also pretty difficult. This year, I’m hoping to finish at least one of those books. I don’t want to pressure myself too much so this isn’t written in stone or anything, but it would be nice if I could finish one book by the end of 2023.
Learn To Play The Guitar
This is a goal I’m carrying forward from 2022. I have wanted to learn to play guitar for years and last year I finally got one. Since I got it towards the end of 2022, I didn’t have much time to learn how to play it. But I really want to learn how to play it in 2023.
Grow Down
This is another goal I am carrying forward from 2022. For those of you that don’t know what “growing down” means (because I literally invented it and pretended like it was a real thing), it simply means I want to live like a child again. And by that I don’t mean throw tantrums (although I do see some tantrums in the near future.) I want to do things that make my inner child feel good. And I want to enjoy life the way I did when I was younger.
I already started doing that last year by getting a guitar. I also started playing online games again. When I was younger, I had such a blast playing online games with my friends at school or my sister at home. I particularly love the food related games because I find those so relaxing since I played food related games when I was younger too. I love a number of the games like Cooking Fever and Pizza Cafe but my personal favourite is the Chocolate Shop game! Does anyone else really enjoy food related games or am I just weird? Maybe it’s because I’m obsessed with food in real life too, lol.
Another thing I want to do in 2023 is more art. I loved art as a teenager and when I was younger but stopped because I didn’t have time as I got older. But this year I want to make time and continue creating my art whether on my phone or in real life.
Dye My Hair
I have ALWAYS wanted to dye my hair but it just was never the right time. I was thinking of dying my hair when I got my haircut last year. But I decided to postpone it because there’s a wedding in my family (not mine lol) in January and they seem like people who wouldn’t appreciate someone with coloured hair in their wedding pictures. So I’ll probably dye my hair around the time of my birthday (4/20).
Have A Healthy Lifestyle
This is one I have been working on for a while now and want to continue with. As I mentioned in this post a while back, I have embarked on a journey to be healthier and eat healthier. I like the way having a healthy lifestyle makes me feel. It really helps with my physical and mental health. (My teenage self that wanted to be a rockstar would hate that those words were written by me and that I’m this person as an adult lol.)
Start A YouTube Channel
That’s right people, Lifesfinewhine is officially getting a YouTube channel after years of literally no one asking me to start one! This is probably the most exciting news I had to share with you guys. I also have a query (kind of). I am not very sure what to call the channel. Like I don’t want to just call it “Lifesfinewhine.” I want something like “Lifesfinewhine” or a pun on “Lifesfinewhine” like “Lifesfinevlogs.” But I can’t think of anything good. If you guys have any ideas, do leave them in the comments below because that would seriously help me out!
Travel More
Although I did travel a bit in 2022, I didn’t get to travel as much as I wanted to. So this year, I really want to make the most of it and travel as much as I can.
