I got this little notification the other day and was happy to see it. This means that I have officially been blogging for nine whole years on WordPress. I think blogging is my favourite thing, I’m so glad I started blogging. I would honestly have been so lost without it.
Blogging has allowed me to work from home and allowed me to write and publish my first book. And hopefully many more in the future. And most importantly, blogging helped me find a place where I belong. A place where I don’t have to hide my real self to fit in. A place where people accept us for who we are. This community really blows my mind and is very much an example of wonderful place the internet could be if we were more kind to one another.
When I first started blogging, I was very lost and felt alone in the world. I wasn’t happy, I didn’t know who I was and I certainly did not love myself as I do now. But in so many ways, Lifesfinewhine helped me find who I am. It helped me be the person I always wanted to be and I am forever grateful for that. And I am so grateful for the support I have received from all of you. It has been an overwhelmingly positive experience.
I always share the first post I ever wrote on anniversary posts. It’s so different from what I share now but it’s fun to look back and see how much this site has evolved.
