Interview With E. S. Foster

A little while ago, I had the pleasure of sitting down with E. S. foster for an interview. She has a lovely blog and I shared her blogger interview a few weeks back. However, she also has decided to start sharing interviews on her blog. Which I think is such a great idea. It’s a lovely way to support other bloggers. So, she asked me if I would like to be the interviewee for a change and of course I was so happy to say yes. My interview with E. S. Foster is now out and I wanted to share it with all of you. You can check it out here. The interview went up on Thursday but since I had other posts already scheduled I decided to share it today.

We talk about a number of things but focus on writing. We also talked about my book, All The Words I Kept Inside, which I recently released. And it was really nice to just talk.

Actually, a number of people have told me they would like me to do an interview where I’m the interviewee so this was really the universe answering that lol. But honestly, it was fun to be the interviewee even though I love to be the interviewer. I’m going to stop saying the word interview now.

Anyway, I really hope you guys go over and read my interview on E. S. Foster’s blog. And I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. If you do read the interview, do let me know what your favourite question/answer was. Or simply stop by and say hi!

  2. Hmm, I’ve never read mysteries before and now you have given me a push on that direction. Wait… I read “Gone Girl”, and I think that’s it.

    1. Gone Girl is so good. Girl On The Train is absolutely fantastic. Finding Claire Fletcher is another one. Mysteries are an interesting genre, you should definitely read more of those if you enjoy them.

  3. Great one, enjoyable. Thanks.

  5. Given her blog’s basis, I guess I shouldn’t have been surprised the questions were all about writing 🙂

    1. Yes, it’s very much focused on writing 🙂

  6. I was hoping you would do some interviews as well!

    1. This was more fun then I thought it would be, I’m going to have to do more interviews in the future!

      1. Seems important for your path!

        1. It is but I think the fact that I’m a very quiet person can be a problem sometimes when it comes to me being the interviewee. But hopefully I’ll get better with practice.

  7. Thanks so much for doing an interview with me! Congrats again on publishing your book!

    1. It was my pleasure and thanks so much!

  11. To me, writing is my everything…. Those words just warmed my heart. I think most writers feel the same.way. writing is so calming and healing for me. I enjoyed this interview. Always nice to aee you stepping out of that shell. You come across as such a “reserved” shy, person. 😊

    1. Thank you, yes I think many of us writers feel that way. I’m definitely quite reserved and don’t talk much even in real life so this was a fun new experience 😊

      1. Lol.. you’re awesome PoojaG. 👏👏🤗

        1. Thanks and so are you 🤗

  12. Wonderful, Pooja.

    1. Thanks so much.

  13. Like you, I always feel better when I write. However, it is hard. Cheers

    1. Writing is much more difficult then people realise but it’s also so worth it. Thank you.

    1. Thank you so much.

      1. You’re most welcome 🙏🏼

  17. Loved that part when you talked about being a writer makes you vulnerable. Unmasking your true self and Expressing yourself unapologetically. To me that’s what matters I write so that I can grow and become better, this implies admitting my flaws and insecurities, and stuff am dealing with. Was such an amazing interview.

    1. Thanks so much. True, I think we have to be brutally honest with our writing even if it means admitting to our flaws.

      1. True, and you’re welcome.

  18. Well done Pooja👏

    1. Thank you 🙏

  19. Wonderful interview, Pooja! 💕🌸

Hope to get myself a copy one day😁

    1. Just finished reading the interview and should say that this statement truly stuck out for me,

‘I think for most writers, writing is such an incredibly personal and intimate thing. To share your writing with the world, you have to be the most vulnerable you have ever been and let people see the real you.’
      Very profound👍🏿

      1. Thank you so much, yes I think many writers would relate to that.

    2. Thanks so much and if you get a copy I hope you enjoy it 😊

      1. 🙏🏿❤️
