Last month we visited About Thyme Restaurant and had a lovely time. I wanted to share my review and experience of the place. We had been hoping to go here for dinner for quite a while now and it was great that we were finally able to go.
The Vibe
The vibe was a 10/10! It was chic but also so much fun. We were seated in a corner so it was quiet as well which we appreciated. The staff was super friendly, helpful, and did a great job.
The Food
The food was really good. I’ve been wanting to go to this restaurant for years now and I’m glad we finally got to go.
It’s been a while and I don’t remember the exact names of the dishes but everything was so delicious. It wasn’t overly spiced or under spiced, it was just right. I love when food tastes clean but also genuinely delicious.
For dessert, they had this AMAZING pineapple upside down cake with ice cream. One of the best vegan desserts I’ve had in Nairobi. In fact, I would go back just for that dessert.
Overall
Overall, we had a lovely time. The food was great, the service was great, the vibe was great. Truly nothing to complain about. And they had a large variety of vegan and vegetarian options so everyone could eat comfortably. Would definitely recommend About Thyme Restaurant if you’re in Nairobi.
