Six Word Story:

Results were worth the arduous work.

About This Six Word Story:

Arduous- an adjective used to describe something that is very difficult or strenuous.

I have a reader who has been a blogging buddy for a few years now who loves when I share six word stories. He suggested it would be nice if I shared more SWS’s this year and I decided to do just that because I really enjoy writing them too. And it’s always fun to learn new words.

This weeks SWS is about my journey with writing a book. It’s been really hard and it’s something I’ve been working on for years now. However, as I read through the poems one last time before it gets into the editing phase, I feel very proud of myself. I’m not 100% satisfied but I know as a writer I never will be. However, I am very happy with the poems I’ve been able to create and they really are my best work so far. All the arduous work really was worth it after all. It’s been scary and nerve-racking but it’s all going to be worth it.

Are you familiar with the word arduous or is it new to you? Have you ever used arduous before in your writing? Let me know in the comments located below. And do share your own six word story or stories in the comments below using the word genial or one that goes with this theme. Or just share a totally random SWS because I always love reading them.
