Best Countries For Musicians (GP)

By Stefan

Nowadays, a lot of talented and creative people are interested in becoming traveling musicians or
buskers. Even though this type of life is incredibly interesting, it’s also very demanding. These artists
have to be out on the streets all day if they want to earn some money. This basically means they don’t
have a lot of time for their personal needs like dating or an active social life. This is why most of them
have to meet people online and connect with them via the Internet. However, despite certain
downsides, busking is still very popular all over the world. So, if you’re drawn to this particular lifestyle,
check out the 7 best countries for street musicians.

France

Besides amazing and multicultural local dating scenes, this lovely European country is also known for its
fantastic street performers and artists. French people, as you probably already know, are crazy about
art. Their sophisticated taste is the biggest reason why most street musicians choose Paris as their “stage”.

Norway

Norwegians and other northern European nations are extremely talented people. This is exactly why this
breath-taking country is a fantastic place for every aspiring traveling performer. These folks know how to
appreciate talent and more importantly, they know how to award it.

Switzerland

Most artist claim that Switzerland is the best country for traveling street musicians. This makes total
sense once you realize that this lovely and wealthy country is a mixture of many different cultures. The
citizens of Switzerland are extremely generous which is a crucial thing if you want to make it big as a
street artist.

The United States

The USA is truly a promised land, especially for free-spirited people who are ready to dedicate their lives
to music. America is filled with many artistic cities that have a lot of influence on the music scene
worldwide. Seattle, Los Angeles, Boston, and New York are probably the top four locations in the United
States for buskers and street performers. These places are filled with people who literally live for music
and once they see a talented artist on the street, they simply have to award him or her with money.
However, it’s not all about the money. If you’re really good, there’s a strong possibility that you’ll be
noticed by some talent agent and that could lead to a real breakthrough.

South Africa

Believe it or not, this part of the world is absolutely perfect for traveling musicians. In South Africa, most
people are rather laid-back. For them, it’s pleasure before business and that’s why they enjoy seeing
various artists on their streets. Therefore, if you want to be respected and treated nicely, South Africa is
the country for you.

Spain

The lovely Iberian Peninsula is known for three things – gorgeous women, fantastic vine, and cheerful
music. Festivals or fiestas are pretty common in Spain which means you can make it big here as a street
musician. These people are addicted to music, so you’ll fit right in.

Why Is Fear Holding Us Back? (Guest Post)

By Stefan

Fear – it’s an unpleasant and rather strong emotion caused by the threat of danger, pain, or harm. It can keep us alive, but in most cases, it holds us back from leaving our comfort zone and enjoying life
completely. In this modern day and age, there are many different types of fear. Young people are afraid
of consequences and this is exactly why most of them are scared of exploring uncharted territories, like
the world of HIV dating for example. Sadly, there are thousands of reported cases of people giving up on
their potential companions simply because they’re HIV positive. This is just one example of how fear can
shape our lives today. If you want to know what the other great fears of our time are, and how they’re
holding us back, stick around and find out.

Fear Of Failure
This is, without a shadow of a doubt, one of the most frequent fears of our time. The majority of people
dream about the big success and the slightest possibility of failure absolutely petrifies them. This
particular fear creates certain limitations in a person’s mind and because of that, an individual is not
able to perform in the best possible way. Some people are so afraid that they can’t even make the first
step. Being afraid of failure paralyzes most of us and holds us back throughout our lives.

Fear Of Rejection
No one likes to be rejected, that is a fact! However, asking someone out is one of the most stressful
moments in modern-day relationships. People are terrified of rejection and this fear prevents them from
asking the question. This is rather ironic because if you don’t ask someone out, you can’t possibly know
what their answer is going to be. Therefore, individuals who are afraid of being rejected are constantly
floating in some sort of limbo of uncertainty and doubt which prevents them from being happy.

Fear Of Getting Ill Or Sick
These days, there are many people who have irrational fears of diseases and death. These folks are
called hypochondriacs and, unfortunately, they’re simply not able to live their lives to the fullest. As we
mentioned in the intro, some of these people are even afraid of dating others because they might get
infected with some sort of STD. This irrational phobia is one of the biggest reasons why HIV positive
dating scene is so neglected today.

Fear Of Being Alone
We have to admit that loneliness is quite scary. Millions of people all around the world are wasting their
time with wrong partners just because they’re terrified of being alone. Since they don’t want to be single
for a little while, they’re simply not able to find a potentially perfect companion for them.

Fear Of Being Judged By Others
Nowadays, everyone is absolutely obsessed with other people’s opinions. Young individuals just want to
be accepted which means they’re afraid to be themselves in public or around other people. They would
rather be fake than judged and this is exactly what prevents them from developing into unique
characters.
