What I Eat In A Day

I’ve been watching a lot of what I eat in a day videos on YouTube and thought it would be fun to make a what I eat in a day blog post!

I usually start out the morning with a smoothie or a shake of some kind. I’m one of those people who hates eating early in the morning so having a shake is a really great alternative. This one from Happy Planet has some pea protein in it so it keeps you full too.

I usually have a snack before lunch to get me through the rest of the morning. These days I’ve been having these Cliff bars which are really delicious and of course vegan. I’m not even kidding I’m buying them in bulk they’re that good!

For lunch I typically have something that’s healthy-ish and easy to make. This lunch wasn’t exactly healthy because I used a mix of Dorito chips and more healthy nacho chips. However, it did taste amazing so whatever!

After eating a heavy lunch I wanted something healthier for dinner with lots of veggies so I decided to make some kimchi fried rice. I used the brand Mother-In-Law’s vegan Kimchi and added lots of vegetables and rice along with some other ingredients. It turned out amazing and was exactly what I was going for!

For dessert I decided to have some vegan So Delicious ice cream.

  1. It’s a good post but I sense, it’s nothing more than a commercial. Pls do not loose your originality / authencity. The only reason I’m commenting on this post is that I love reading the stuff that comes out from YOU. Apologies if I’m too direct.

    1. I just want to make it clear that not a single brand that I mentioned here have sponsored me for this post or ever. I did this post because I thought it would be fun both to do and for my readers to read. I enjoy and use the products mentioned above regularly and thought I would share them in case anyone wanted to try them out not because I’m trying to sell them or making some kind of “commercial” for them. Thanks for the comment and I hope that cleared things up about the originality/authenticity of the post.

      1. Dear Pooja, apologies….then I take my words back. Mentioning just one product for each category sounded like a commercial to me. But yeah, thanks for the explanation.

        1. I understand your confusion and that’s why I wanted to clear things up. The reason I didn’t mention every ingredient I used was because I may do full recipes for the nachos and kimchi fried rice separately and didn’t want to step on the toes of those posts. The shake, Cliff bars and ice cream are mentioned individually because those are the brands I ate that day. Hope that explains it.

            1. Please if I became famous enough to be sponsored by Doritos I would never speak to any of my followers again and move to Cali to become an actress… lol kidding I would totally let you in on the secret!

              1. You’d be a great actress, haha. You could do historical films once you’re done with college and annoy the director by constantly correcting him on historical facts!

  2. Awesome post! I also don’t like eating too early in the morning. I usually keep it really lite if I do. I would love to do the whole smoothie thing but I am allergic to soy and I only find them with soy! ):

        1. You’re welcome and I’ve noticed that too. I’m not allergic to soy but I try to avoid it when possible and now I’m just like okay so literally everything has soy?!?

  3. Thanks for sharing your daily meals. However, I think you should add more naturals instead of canned or processed meal to your diet.
Slowly cancel the peanut bars and crunchy chips as days go by. It’ll be healthier on the long run.

    1. Thank you! I actually never use canned items because canned products are really bad for your health but I get what you mean processed food is super unhealthy. The chips were definitely a cheat meal kind of thing I never eat such stuff daily. Definitely working on eating healthier!

  4. I also love So Delicious Ice cream. The cashew milk flavors are my fav. I am lactose intolerant and I find the cashews add a richness that reminds me of dairy ice cream.
Try the pops if you can find them. The Salty Caramel Pops are yum.
PS Thanks for visiting my blog Pooja.
    peace, Linda

    1. I haven’t tried those but if I can I’ll be sure to try them out- I will literally never say no to ice cream lol! You’re very welcome and thanks for stopping by my blog too!
