Feeling Blue- A Poem

Six Word Story | Feeling Blue

The best thing to do

When you’re feeling blue

Is to take a little nap… or two!

About “Feeling Blue?”:

I woke up from a nap feeling so much better and this silly little poem just popped into my head so I thought I would share it with you guys! If you know me, you know there is nothing I cherish more than good sleep. And naps in particular are one of the few luxuries I can actually afford as a broke uni student. So when I get the chance to partake in a nap, I don’t give it up. And let me tell you, naps can honestly change your day and your mood.

There are times when I’m feeling kind of down or maybe just out of it and I end up taking a nap. And what do you know, I wake up feeling so much better. I wake feeling more refreshed and my mood lightens up too. Honestly, sometimes you just need a good, quick little nap. Or ten…

Do you enjoy naps? Are you someone who takes naps during the day? Or do you prefer to only sleep at night? Because I know sometimes naps during the day ruin our sleep cycles at night so some people prefer not to take naps. If you do take naps, do you take short power naps or longer naps? Let me know in the comments located below or simply stop by and say hi!
