In March, I did my first “ASK ME SOMETHING” post and it was so much fun. A lot of my readers told me they had enjoyed it and wanted me to do another one and I honestly had such a great time answering your very interesting questions so I wanted to do another one as well. I had been meaning to do another one again for so long but stuff kept coming up and I could not find the right time to schedule another post like that. However, I decided to do one today since I have a bit more free time next week.
So, How Does This Work?
In case you hadn’t participated in the last Ask Me Something post or have forgotten how it works I thought I would leave the instructions here again. So, I got the idea for this from how people have that “ask me anything” box on Instagram and thought it would be a lot of fun to do on WordPress too because I have a larger following here and people are a lot more interested in connecting with one another rather than just playing the following/unfollowing. And on that note follow me on Instagram by clicking here- I promise I won’t follow/unfollow you! đ
I thought it would be particularly fun as some of us are stuck at home and don’t have a lot going on (I’m some of us…). I thought this would be a fun way to connect, start some fun conversations, get to know one another better and just have a nice little virtual get together in the comments section!
Okay so back to how it works. All you have to do is leave a question/questions in the comments section.
After about a week I will publish a post tagging you along with your question and will give an answer to the question on the post.
In case that was confusing to understand because I am the worst at explaining stuff please go see my last Ask Me Something post and Your Questions Answered post to get a better idea of exactly how it will work.
Thank you!
I want to thank everyone in advance for your comment and for being a part of this! Honestly, it’s just so great that we have this awesome platform on which we can connect with each other. I think I may have gone crazy stuck at home if it hadn’t been for this blog. So again, thank you in advance!!

In March, I did my first “ASSUMPTIONS” post and it was so much fun. A lot of my readers told me they had enjoyed it and wanted me to do another one and I honestly had such a great time answering your very interesting assumptions I personally wanted to do another one as well. I had been meaning to do another one again for so long but stuff kept coming up and I could not find the right time to schedule another post like that. However, since I just celebrated 16k followers I thought this would be a fun way to interact with my new followers as well as my older ones!
So, How Does This Work?
In case you hadn’t participated in the last Assumptions post or have forgotten how it works I thought I would leave the instructions here again. So, I got the idea for this from watching some YouTubers do these “assumptions” videos and thought it would be a lot of fun to do on WordPress too. I thought this would be a fun way to connect, start some fun conversations, get to know one another better and just have a nice little virtual get together in the comments section!
Okay so back to how it works. All you have to do is leave an assumption/assumptions in the comments section.
After about five days or so I will publish a post tagging you along with your assumption and will give you an answer as to whether or not your assumption was accurate on the post. For example, if your assumption was “You like potatoes” I’ll answer “yes, I love potatoes” or “nope, I’m not a fan of potatoes I actually love plantains more.”
In case that was confusing to understand because I am the worst at explaining stuff please go see my last Assumptions post and Replying To Your Assumptions post to get a better idea of exactly how it will work.
Thank you!
I want to thank everyone in advance for your comment and for being a part of this! Honestly, it’s just so great that we have this awesome platform on which we can connect with each other. I think I may have gone crazy stuck at home if it hadn’t been for this blog. So again, thank you in advance!!

I want to thank Trix Muriel for nominating me for this tag and for creating this awesome tag! It’s such a great way to spread some positivity in the WordPress community. Be sure to check out their blog and the original tag post by clicking here.Â
So here are the rules :
Thank the person who chose you.
Include the logo in your post.
Answer the questions asked to you.
Choose the bloggers whoâve inspired you (maximum 10.)
Add a feature of their blog which you admire.
Ask them five questions.
Questions:
What made you take up blogging?
I wanted to find a place where I could write and express myself and a friend suggested blogging.Â
What would you choose : Go back to the past or Jump to the future?
I’m a history major so I’m going to have to say the past.
How many languages can you speak ? List them.
English, Gujarati, Swahili, and I’m currently learning German. I can understand simple Hindi but not write or speak it so I’m not going to add it to the list.
Your travel pet peeves?
When people don’t respect your space and are kind of all up in your face- especially on the airplane.Â
Name three of your favourite authors.
Jane Austen
Enid Blyton
Natasha Anders
Iâd like to choose:
Erin– This tag is perfect for Erin because I find her blog to be so inspiring. Even with all the craziness going on at the moment and all the negativity she still tries really hard to remain positive and spread positive energy to the WordPress community and I find that to be incredibly amazing and inspiring. She also has a really awesome Instragram that you can check out.
Jirah– I really enjoy her blog and always find her posts interesting. She has such a positive energy and I particularly enjoyed her Blog Party post where she encouraged everyone to share their blogs and get to know one another. She is definitely a very inspiring blogger. You can also check her out on Instragram, Pinterest and Twitter.Â
Tiani-Â I love Tiani’s blog so much- you know I can never resist a blog that talks about mental health. She writes about mental health, lifestyle and so much more. She also does interviews every week that discuss mothers and mental health- she interviews a mother who talks about their mental health. I find this segment to be particularly inspiring because a lot of people tend to suffer from mental health problems during pregnancy or after they have children and it’s so important to make sure that they know they are not alone and that things will get better. She also has a YouTube channel, Instagram page, Twitter page, and Pinterest that you can check out.
Elle– I only discovered her blog recently but I think it’s absolutely wonderful. I think she tells it like it is and doesn’t hold back which I- as a repressed perfectionist- find very inspiring. You can also check out her content on Facebook,Twitter and Instagram.Â
Nath– I really love her blog and think she has some super interesting and inspiring posts on there. She writes lifestyle, personal, TV review posts and so much more. I like how upbeat her blog is and she has some pretty great advice on there.Â
Zainab– I really enjoy Zainab’s blog so much. She has a multi-niche blog where she writes about her views, experiences, life and more. I like that her blog is such a positive space. You can also check out her Instagram page.Â
Shweta Suresh- I’ve been a fan of Shweta’s blog for a very long time now. I’ve been following it from way back when I first started blogging and I have been enjoying it ever since. I love her short stories that usually have an inspiring twist to them. You can also check out her Instagram,Twitter, Pinterest and Tumblr.Â
Nomison Ndegwa- He has such an inspiring blog and he’s a fellow Kenyan blogger which is always exciting! He has a multi-niche blog with lifestyle, awards and inspirational posts. The majority of his posts are inspirational posts and that’s why I thought he would be the perfect candidate for this tag.Â
Xandria- She is such an inspiring blogger I had to add her to the list. She has an amazing multiple-niche blog and a particularly inspiring post of her was the 10 Favourite Feelings Tag which she created to help spread some positivity and remind us of more positive feelings. I was so happy to be part of the tag and I think it was definitely a success. You can also check out her Instagram,Twitter, and Pinterest.
Everyone reading this post- I think everyone’s blog is inspiring in it’s own way and I would love for anyone who is reading this post to consider doing this tag and if you don’t want to make an entire post out of it feel free to leave the answers to the questions below in the comments section.Â

From Jim Borden

I recently watched some YouTube videos and saw that they were doing something where people comment an assumption about the person and the person replies and answers whether they’re right or wrong. Like for example the assumption could be “you love potatoes” and the YouTuber would be like “yes, I do love potatoes!” or “no, I actually hate potatoes!”
I thought that was super fun and we could do it on WordPress too especially since the ask me something post was so fun to do! Plus, it’s a great way to get everyone involved and a nice distraction for a bit from everything going on right now. So leave some assumptions down in the comments and I’ll post my answers in a couple of days and of course I’ll link the blogger who left the comment!

So recently I had done a post telling you guys to leave a question in the comments below and this is the post with the answers! I also tagged everyone who left a question so be sure to check out their blogs too!
From Garrett Karrot
Getting cosy in my pj’s and lying in bed is probably my favourite retreat!
From Matt:
I think what surprised me most- in a good way- was how friendly everyone was including the professor’s most of which are really nice and easy to talk to.
From Neha Nandwana:
I love that I’m a very empathetic person because I think it’s so important to remain empathetic especially in this day and age when it sometimes feels like the hate is growing.
From Cindi Moore:
A lot of travelling for sure!
From Joshada Nondan:
I love the moon and the sun although I may love the sun a little less soon with summer coming up! And I love the rain- especially falling asleep in while it’s raining out.
From Oliveunicorn:
Strawberry!
From Cethru Cellophane:
I think the fact that it was similar to English was one of the things that attracted me to it and the other was that as a history enthusiast it makes it easier for me to read sources in their original language because I think translations are never really fully the same.
From Gina:
Of course the first would be that I try to be honest and transparent with my followers. The second would be to always write about things you actually care about- the audience can definitely tell if your writing is forced. The last would be that I’m just lucky to have an amazing audience that are so active!
From Pranita:
Thanks I’m taking my own advice lol!
From Robin:
I don’t think I’m scared of any animal in particular but I guess I wouldn’t exactly want to be in a room alone with a snake lol!
From Aditi Verma:
It was the perfect outlet for me when I needed one really bad.
From Eromosele Emmanuel:
It’s complicated lol!
From Opher:
Omg so many questions and they’re all so good! I don’t really know if there’s a God or not but I personally think that despite whether or not you believe in God you should just try to live your best life, be kind to all living beings and be caring and compassionate. Overpopulation is definitely one of reasons for a lot of the problems. I think the only way to solve global warming is if we all work together to change our ways. No, realistically I don’t think the rapid extinction rate can be reversed. If it was a perfect world where everyone cared maybe but not in the reality we live in. I love Jimi Hendrix and I personally think he’s an incredible guitarist! I think Phil Ochs was better than Bob Dylan if I’m keeping it real.
From Kiran:
I’m from Kenya, studying history in Canada.
From Dr. Thomas Maples:
I’m majoring in History hoping to pursue a career in that field. Thanks and I agree WordPress is so much more positive and supportive! It’s like a huge family!
From Phanuel Ayelum:
I started blogging as an outlet and I continue to blog because it has remained a great outlet for me and I just have such an amazing audience it really encourages me to continue!
From Haroon Mirza:
Mental health posts or six word stories are probably my favourite!
From Joyce Holzman Hanscom:
I’m not Christian but I love the Christian community on WordPress they are so supportive and great!
From Uma:
Mr. Darcy is probably my all time favourite! And I totally love Bridget Jones she is so hilarious and relatable!
From A. Shepherdson:
Lol I have a silly and funny story about that but long story short no I do not đ
From Karac Avalron:
I don’t really like pies so much and cakes are okay but I definitely prefer cupcakes and yes they are totally their own classification lol!
From Tiani:
Oh man there are so many things! I think what I love most about Kenyan culture is how everyone is so ready to help one another and how everyone is connected. I also love the food- nothing in the world tastes as good as Kenyan food!
From Shruti Dubey:
I’ve been blogging for almost 5 years now!
From Ajay Patel:
I would have to say it’s a tie between Imagine by John Lennon and I’m Going To Say It Now by Phil Ochs. With Imagine it really speaks to me on a spiritual level and with the Phil Ochs song as a student I find it extremely relatable.
From Adlerwrites:
I was looking for an outlet and for a place where I could write and WordPress/blogging ended up being the perfect way to do that.
Thank you so much for the questions everyone I had so much fun answering them and I can’t wait to do this again!

For those of you who donât know, 73 Questions is a feature in Vogue magazine that asks some of the biggest celebs 73 quick fire questions in order to get to know them better. Over the last few weeks in particular, itâs become quite popular in the blogging community, where writers answer the questions themselves, and tag 12 fellow bloggers at the end of it. Last week, I was tagged by Amy May and this has been soooo fun to do! I’m so grateful for her nominating me for this because it’s the first time I’ve ever done this challenge and it was honestly one of my favourites. Do go check out her blog you won’t regret it!
Whatâs your usual Starbucks order? Vanilla latte with non-dairy milk.
What does your workstation look like? Not neat…
Favourite food? There are too many to have just one but probably if I had to choose it would be Indian or Korean food.
Favourite author? Jane Austen
What do you think of open relationships? I don’t think it’s for me personally because I’m the kind of person where if you’re with me you can’t be with anyone else but I think it works for a lot of people especially those who are not happy being with just one person but want to be in a relationship.
What is your favourite video game? Not going to lie I’m not into video games…
Guilty pleasure treat? Fries.
